Tx Update - Day 6 - Wednesday 1pm
Jac still doing well today, all chest drains are now out as well as catheter. This will should help with the pain and make it easier for her to move around. I'll post more details later.
We've been getting lots of people asking for an address to send cards. Its ok to send a card but NO flowers or other gifts at the moment while she is so immuno suppressed (it seems balloons are ok but we've already got a room full! :)). The address is:
Ward 27A
Freeman Hospital
Freeman Road
High Heaton
Newcastle upon Tyne
NE7 7DN

I've sent my cousin Bec round instead, I think!
Glad to hear the drains are out and that she'll be able to move easier. I've sent my card already so I hope it tracked her down OK.
Thanks for letting us know the progress :)

Great news, now you will start to feel a difference Jac.
You are making great progress.
Shelley was chuffed to see you this morning, and to meet Andrew and your mum.
Take care and you will be wandering around the hospital(complete with mask) before you know it.

Brilliant Jac,
What a GREAT week. I'm so chuffed for you.

In the words of the Beatles 'Its getting better all the ti-i-ime'.
You are making such fantastic progress!
You all deserve medals but you know that anyway!
We're all thinking about you all the time.

Great news again, hurrah! Your doing so fab I can't quite believe it (but then I cant stop grinning all day either!) Keep it up and here's hoping the pain gets itself sorted out sharpish!
Tell your mum to stop dancing (at least in front of you) it may inhibit your recovery - I've seen that dance! :p
Lots of love and hugs to all!

Great news Andrew. Such a big step to have those itsy bitsy thingys out, hopefully Jac will begin to feel her body is more her own now :P (does that sound odd?!) Anyway, hope it continues, xx
Great news, sending you loads of huggs :-)
