You can only see the photo's in the paper - if anyone is desperate to see them and can't get the paper, then leave me your email in comments or guestbook and I will try and scan the article.
I'm really pleased with the article overall - the diary part is what I wrote myself, and bar a little editing to make the word count and the adding of some headings, they haven't changed anything. I'm also pleased with the photo (thank goodness), although I have to admit my hair no longer looks so neat and tidy. I tried to dry it myself yesterday and it's sticking up all over the place! More effort and practice required I think ;-)

Great article, you should be really pleased with it - and you look amazing! Hair not too jooshed either!

Don't forget to "joosh" the hair as well! ;)
I think it is a beautifully written article and hopefully will help few more readers realise how valuable and precious the gift of organ transplant is to the recipients. And more importantly that they put their names on the organ donor register AND tell their loved ones of their wishes.
Jacqueline, I thought the article was wonderful. Since I've been reading about your journey (and the story of Nate and Tricia at CF Husband), I have decided to broach the subject of organ donation with my family. I have long wanted to be a donor, but many of my family members are not in favor of it, and I've never discussed it with them because I know it will be an uncomfortable conversation. If I could help one person like you, though, it would be worth a million unpleasant conversations.
On a much less serious note, I would love to see the photos from the article, but only if it isn't too much trouble for you to scan them. My email is: absepa@gmail.com.

Hello Jac,
I read your blog and think what a remarkable miracle, both you and your transplant. Your writing is a joy to read, have you considered making it into a book?
You are constantly in our prayers and the prayers of our parish and we are following your progress. My sister's husband had a kidney transplant on Wednesday, he was on the cadaver donor list, but one of his son's turned out to be a perfect match, just as he was down to needing diaylisis (sp?). He is due to go home today, a little fast I think, but everything is progressing well. They are also reading your blog, as well as my parents, who are not computer savvy at all, check you weekly at the library with help from the librarian. Quite an accomplishment for them.
Since we can't get your article and the pictures do sound fun, if you get a chance to scan, send it to rerkos@yahoo.com.
Love to you and your family,
Linda, all the Rerkos and the Saylers
Well done Jac. Article reads really well.
